Links to other websites and third parties

The Website may contain links to external sites including those of partner networks, advertisers, affiliates or social media platforms. Please note that these third-party websites operate under their own privacy policies. Club Estate assumes no liability for the content or data practices of these sites. We advise users to review the privacy policies of any external sites before submitting any personal data.

Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)

Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is a standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a server and a client – typically a web server and a browser, or a mail server and a mail client. SSL allows sensitive information such as credit card numbers, social security numbers and login credentials to be transmitted securely. Normally, data sent between browsers and web servers is sent in plain text – leaving users vulnerable to eavesdropping. If an attacker is able to intercept all data sent between a browser and a web server, they could see and use that information.

More specifically, SSL is a security protocol. Protocols describe how algorithms should be used. In this case, the SSL protocol determines variables of the encryption for both the link and the data being transmitted. All browsers have the capability to interact with secured web servers using the SSL protocol. However, the browser and the server need what is called an SSL Certificate to be able to establish a secure connection.

SSL secures millions of people’s data on the Internet every day, especially during online transactions or when transmitting confidential information. Internet users have come to associate their online security with the lock icon that comes with an SSL-secured website or green address bar that comes with an Extended Validation SSL-secured website. SSL-secured websites also begin with https rather than http.

Google-Analytics

This Website uses Google Analytics, a service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses cookies – text files placed on your computer – to help the Website analyze how users use the site.

The information generated by the cookie, including your IP address, is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. With IP anonymization, Google shortens/anonymizes the last octet of IP addresses within the EU or EEA. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address sent to and shortened on Google’s US servers.

Google uses this data on behalf of the website operator to evaluate website usage, compile reports on website activity and provide other services related to website activity and internet usage. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.

You can prevent cookies from being saved by adjusting your browser settings. However, please note that this may limit Website functionality. You can also prevent data collection and processing (cookies and IP addresses) by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en-GB.

Contact form

If you submit inquiries via a contact form, the data provided – including your contact details – will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your inquiry and for potential follow-up questions. We do not share this data without your explicit consent.

Newsletter

Club Estate will only send you e-mails or e-newsletters with your consent, and you can unsubscribe from these at any time. We may analyze your clicking and reading behavior to better tailor content to your needs. Please note that unencrypted data transmissions could be read or modified by unauthorized third parties.

Google AdWords conversion tracking

This Website uses the Google AdWords advertising platform and its conversion tracking feature, provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”), which helps us draw attention to our attractive offers using advertising materials (so-called Google AdWords) on external websites.

We can determine, in relation to the advertising campaign’s data, how successful the individual advertising measures are. We are interested in showing you advertisements that are of interest to you, to make our Website more attractive and ensure a fair calculation of advertising costs.

The conversion tracking cookie is set on a user’s browser if they click on an AdWords ad delivered by Google. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer system. These cookies usually expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If users visit a certain page of this Website and the cookie is still active, Google and Club Estate can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was forwarded to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be traced via the website of AdWords customers.

The information collected through conversion cookies is used to generate aggregate conversion statistics on AdWords customers who have opted in for conversion tracking. Customers receive information about the total number of users who clicked on their ads and were forwarded to a conversion tracking tag page. However, they do not receive any information that would allow users to be personally identified. If you do not wish to participate in the tracking program, you can refuse the use of this program by deactivating the Google Conversion Tracking cookie via your Internet browser settings. In this case, you will not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.
