Zoltan Szelyes

Zoltan is Co-founder of Macro Real Estate and Head Real Estate Indirect Investments at a Swiss family office. He started his career at Credit Suisse in 2004, where he built the Global Real Estate Research Framework for Private Banking from scratch. In 2007, he joined the Swiss National Bank (SNB) as a senior economist, where he was an advisor to Thomas Jordan, the Chairman of the SNB at that time.

Zoltan was also co-responsible for the SNB StabFund Limited Partnership for Collective Investment, a “bad bank” that emerged from the UBS bailout, with assets under management of USD 39 billion. Following the successful liquidation of the unit with a reported profit of USD 3.8 billion, Zoltan rejoined Credit Suisse in 2014 as Head of Global Real Estate Research and led Investment Research for the global Credit Suisse Asset Management Real Estate platform until the second quarter of 2020.
