Zoltan is co-founder of Macro Real Estate and Head Real Estate Indirect Investments of a Swiss family office. He started his career at Credit Suisse in 2004, where he built up the Global Real Estate Research Framework for Private Banking from scratch. In 2007, he joined the Swiss National Bank (SNB) as a senior economist, acting as advisor to Thomas Jordan, now President of the SNB.
He was also co-responsible for asset management of the SNB StabFund Limited Partnership for Collective Investment, a ‘bad bank’ that emerged from the UBS bailout with assets under management of USD 39 billion. Following the successful liquidation of the unit with a reported profit of USD 3.8 billion, Zoltan rejoined Credit Suisse in 2014 as Head of Global Real Estate Research and led Investment Research for the global Credit Suisse Asset Management Real Estate platform until Q2 2020.
